“We’re gonna be a real family again.” Brainstorm Media has unveiled an official trailer for Affection, an indie horror thriller from filmmaker BT Meza making his feature directorial debut. This premiered at last year’s Screamfest in the fall, and it also played at Brooklyn Horror, Trieste Science+Fiction, Night Visions, and this year’s Overlook Film Festival. Now set for release in limited theaters starting in May this summer. Afflicted by a mysterious condition that resets her memory, Ellie becomes trapped in a cyclical nightmare with a man who claims to be her husband. She must uncover the horrifying truth of her existence—before she forgets it all again. Starring Jessica Rothe, Joseph Cross & Julianna Layne, Meza’s film Affection is an unsettling, haunting psychological story exploring the horrors of trauma, blending elements of body horror & sci-fi. This looks like another crazy new original horror creation!
