“You’re gonna have the time of your life!” Lock ‘n load! Action Xtreme has launched the main official trailer for the action movie Bad Day at the Office, a first person POV action film from director Chee Keong Cheung. Holy moley this looks insane! We haven’t seen one of these POV action movies in a bit. Dive into another crazy day of mayhem and violence. A man with amnesia wakes up in a hotel room next to a corpse, triggering a dangerous conspiracy. He and a maid try to recover his memories & evade the cops to uncover the mystery and survive those pursuing them. This movie stars John Hannah, Radha Mitchell, Tamer Hassan, Lana Parrilla, Tim Fellingham, Roxanne McKee, Branko Tomović, Victor Gardener. This premiered at the 2026 Edinburgh Film Festival in their Midnight section – the intro explains: “Shot in the style of first-person shooter video games with cine-literate wit, humor, ferocious pacing and a cracking soundtrack, this is an anarchic, ultra-violent, hilarious thrill ride of pure, cinematic carnage. The ultimate Midnight Madness experience.” Filmed entirely from a first-person POV with GoPros. This looks bonkers in the best of ways! Definitely something to catch in the cinema if you can – it opens in the UK this fall. Enjoy.

When Karl (John Hannah) awakes in a wrecked hotel room with a splitting headache, it isn’t because he’s nursing a nasty hangover. Karl has no memory of what’s happened, where he is, or even who he is. When he discovers a dead body in his bathtub, and police officers soon knocking at his door, it sets into motion a terrifying & explosive series of events that force Karl & hotel maid Molly (Radha Mitchell) on a descent into a deceptive world of confusion and conspiracy, all the while with a price on his head and half the city in murderous pursuit. Karl will need to draw on his forgotten skill sets if he has any hope of survival, as he & Molly try to unravel what took his memories. Bad Day at the Office is directed by genre filmmaker Chee Keong Cheung, director of the films Underground, Bodyguard: A New Beginning, Redcon-1, and Son of the Soil previously. The screenplay is by Oliver Morran and Chee Keong Cheung. It’s produced by Andreas Roald, Ioanna Karavela, Chee Keong Cheung. This just premiered at the 2026 Edinburgh Film Festival this summer. Action Xtreme sends Bad Day at the Office to UK cinemas starting October 30th, 2026 this fall.
