Some trash talk with Tom Brady to promote a flag football game has turned into a running beef between Logan Paul and former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell*.
Longtime readers may remember this, but I grew up in Pittsburgh and have loved the Steelers longer than I’ve loved pro wrestling. So I’ve followed Bell’s career pretty closely. He seemed to be off to a great one after being drafted to the six-time Super Bowl winners in 2013, but missed the 2018 season to a contract holdout, signed with the New York Jets, got injured, and was never the same. Since last being on an NFL team in 2022, he’s competed on The Masked Singer and launched a boxing career, including a few celebrity-type fights like the one he’s chasing with Paul. Le’Veon’s saved from leading the 21st century edition of the disappointing/tragic Steelers rankings by Antonio Brown.
Point is, it wasn’t terribly surprising to read that Bell doesn’t want to give up the Paul fight even after the former United States champion told him WWE wouldn’t let him do it. Le’Veon crashed an Adin Ross stream last night (March 13) to call Logan out for supposedly ducking him:

And earlier in the week on Busted Open, Bell said he’ll be in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 42, and hinted at using an angle that will be familiar to WWE fans in order to get his hands on Logan. Asked if WWE’s contacted him about doing something at the event April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium, the 2014 Pro Bowler replied:
“Nah, they haven’t. They haven’t. It’s just literally all me. Regardless if they contact me or not, I’m still gonna be there. Imma either be front row and I’m gonna be there. I might pull up as a masked man. You might not even know I’m there. If I’m there, you might not even know I’m there.“
Showing up in a mask and not telling anyone doesn’t seem like a great way to get attention, but it might be welcome from Le’Veon at this point.
Security at WrestleMania won’t be lax, so there’s probably not much chance of Bell going into business for himself if he does show. Will this continue regardless? Should WWE try to make some money off the feud?
