XYZ Films has revealed the first look teaser trailer for an indie film titled He Bled Neon, a crime thriller from filmmaker Drew Kirsch making his feature directorial debut after tons of other music videos before this. The film is premiering at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival this month – featured in the main spotlight section. After his estranged brother’s mysterious death, Ethan’s journey from LA to Las Vegas for the funeral unravels a dark web of crime, forcing him to confront his past. When he gets the text saying his brother overdosed, the promise he made to never return home shatters, pulling him back into the world he thought he had escaped. Starring Joe Cole, Rita Ora, Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Paul Wesley, and Josh Holloway. The film also features musician Zhu composing the score in collaboration with Joe Trapanese. This 30 second teaser is only a first look but it’s enough to grab your attention – this looks all crazy intense.
