“No one’s coming for us… We’re just gonna have to do this the hard way.” 🐕 Paramount Pictures unveiled the second & final official trailer for the wilderness survival thriller movie Heart of the Beast, co-starring a good boy trained doggie dog who was actually #1 on the call sheet. This dog movie is ready for release in theaters later in September. Made by action filmmaker David Ayer (of Fury, Suicide Squad, Bright, The Tax Collector, The Beekeeper, A Working Man). A former Army Special Forces soldier and his retired combat dog, Odin, attempt to return to civilization after a plane crash out in the Alaskan wilderness. They are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements. An intense adventure thriller exploring the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet. Of course they’ll make it out, but it’s the journey that matters. Starring Brad Pitt and the dog, with J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe. Even though it’s set in Alaska, this was shot entirely in New Zealand at various national parks & locations. The pooch is named Uber playing the character of Odin. I’m a sucker for doggo movies and this looks good.
