“I gotta have faith!” Bleecker Street revealed one final promo trailer for the upcoming concert doc George Michael: The Faith Tour, hitting theaters worldwide this fall. The film is a magnificent celebration of iconic musician George Michael and a time capsule look back at an iconic moment in his life and career. Assembled from rediscovered, previously unseen & unheard 35mm footage of his 1988 show at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, this concert movie captures George at the height of his creative power during the record-breaking Faith Tour. Expertly restored & remastered, it transforms a defining cultural moment into a spectacular cinema experience. An original short film by Mary McCartney opens the feature, using newly discovered audio and imagery from his “Faith Era” in 1986–1988, offering a vivid insight into this pivotal moment in his life. It’s especially exciting to watch this because it was originally shot on 35mm film, and has been updated into pristine 4K now for everyone to enjoy on the big screen. For anyone who missed this or wasn’t around at the time, now is the chance to go experience the glory of George Michael in concert.
