The LEGO Star Wars Dark Falcon is a 1,579-piece set modeled after the “evil” version of the Millennium Falcon that starred in the Rebuild the Galaxy Disney+ animated special back in 2024. In that series, the universe is inverted, with good guys becoming the baddies and vice versa. The Dark Falcon is the base of operations for Darth Rey and Darth Jar Jar.
This is the second largest LEGO Millennium Falcon currently in production and certainly the most unique. Instead of the typical gray color scheme you’ll see with most Star Wars starships, the Dark Falcon is completely blacked out with red accents. The top panels flip open to reveal a spacious interior that includes Darth Jar Jar’s throne, command center, hyperdrive, entertainment area, and jail cell. The cockpit fits two minifigs, as does the gunner post. Rounding out the interactive elements are two spring-loaded shooters. Of course no Millennium Falcon set is complete without its own unique satellite dish, and the Dark Falcon does not fail to impress with a very cool Death Star laser-style dish.
Six minifigures are included, but the one everyone is going ga-ga for is Darth Jar Jar, a key antagonist in Rebuild the Galaxy. This version of Jar Jar wears classic Sith Lord attire and wields a dual-bladed lightsaber. The other minifigs include Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, Darth Rey, Beach Luke and Jedi Vader. They are all exclusive to this set.
The Dark Falcon is one of the largest sets that’s catered towards builders ages 10 and up instead of 18+. It’s an excellent transitional set for younger builders looking to take on more challenging LEGOs without feeling overwhelmed.
