After a disastrous start to our USA road trip, my brother Hugh and I are back on the road in our huge RV, attempting to drive 1,500 miles from Boston to Miami in just four days. We only have three days left to reach Scotland’s next FIFA World Cup match, so today our goal is simple: cover as many miles as possible while experiencing more of the USA along the way. As complete RV beginners, it’s also our first time driving an RV and our first time driving in the USA, making this American road trip a true challenge…
In this USA road trip video, we leave our first American RV park in Pennsylvania, stop for breakfast at the iconic Waffle House for the first time, and continue our East Coast USA road trip through Maryland and West Virginia. Along the way, we try classic American food including grits, hash browns, cheesesteaks and biscuits with gravy, while sharing our honest first impressions of America as Scottish travellers in America.
