He was on a little bit of a roll in late 2024, heading into 2025. Then Brian Cage’s roll was slowed by an injury, and a setback in his recovery ended up keeping him out for more than a year.
14 months to be precise, between March of last year and tonight (May 13) on Dynamite in Asheville, North Carolina. The Machine answered TNT champion Kevin Knight’s open challenge, looking good with black hair and beard… and jacked to the gills, as always. He was also accompanied by Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta and Lance Archer of The Don Callis Family, so the former FTW champ is still with that mega-faction.

… and had his Callis Family brothers come to his aid, but the champ’s JetSpeed partner Speedball Mike Bailey was there to cancel that out. And eventually, Jet flew to victory.

Knight would go on to say he wants the next shot at whoever leaves tonight’s main event with the World title.
