A New Season, a Growing Partnership: Marines Join Preseason Nationals as Title Sponsor

As wrestlers across the country prepare for a new season, the United States Marine Corps is strengthening its connection with USA Wrestling through one of the sport’s premier preseason events.

The Marines will serve as title sponsor of the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals & Boys National Recruiting Showcase, set for Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at the MidAmerican RecPlex in Des Moines, Iowa.

The sponsorship will also introduce a new resource for coaches attending Preseason Nationals.

The Marine Corps Coaches Lounge will provide a place to regroup, network, and engage with Marines throughout the tournament. The lounge will also create opportunities for conversations around leadership, resilience and the significant role coaches play in developing young people on and off the mat.

Not every athlete competing in Iowa will become a national champion or wrestle in college, but the qualities developed through wrestling can remain valuable long after the final whistle. Preparation, perseverance, teamwork and confidence under pressure can serve athletes wherever their paths lead.

This shared outlook will be on full display when the 2026-27 USA Wrestling season kicks off in Des Moines. Athletes will arrive ready to compete, coaches will be there to guide them, and the Marines will stand ready to support the commitment required to overcome challenges and pursue excellence.
