Whatever your feelings on Logan Paul in general, it’s almost* impossible to deny that he’s taken to pro wrestling amazingly well. Most of us who were really hoping his WrestleMania 38 and SummerSlam 2022 program with The Miz would be a one-off thing quickly admitted that Paul’s talents are extremely well-suited to this weird meta-fictional pastime we love, and as he spends more time on WWE programming, that only becomes more apparent.
But there’s something about the former United States champion’s ringwork that bugs a lot of people — including some of his now-fellow wrestlers. Paul’s been known to use moves invented or popularized by other wrestlers. The thing he’s been called out for the most is Hangman Page’s Buckshot Lariat, which Paul later said he reached out to Page and got his blessing to use. Puerto Rican independent wrestler Jose Zamora apparently did not get a phone call from Paul about what Zamora calls his “mic’d up gimmick”, and had a full video explaining why he believes Logan got the idea to use it from him.
Logan Paul did the same wrestling gimmick I’ve been doing on the indies for a year and a half https://t.co/ad4I7Ccf4o pic.twitter.com/yw3wbpXklB

Former WWE and current AEW wrestler Andrade El Ídolo hadn’t been part of any of Paul’s move sampling, but he decided to have some fun with it anyway. Andrade did so while reposting one of his impressive spots Saturday’s match against Page at Grand Slam Australia.
New move for Logan Paul! https://t.co/hxr5GvGpw3

Andrade was soon accused of move theft himself, but denied it while sharing credit for popularizing it with another WWE star, Rey Fenix:
Shut your mouth! @ReyFenixMx and I did it first! 🤣P
But I didn’t invent it! https://t.co/cg2pGw25sT pic.twitter.com/0seBSANQ3p— “EL IDOLO” ANDRADE (@AndradeElIdolo) February 16, 2026
He also tipped his cap to Paul for something while dealing with blowback to his joke:
I know he is a good YouTuber!!

It seems unlikely this means anything than that Andrade had some time to kill on his way back from Australia, but that never stopped us before — especially not on a slow U.S. holiday. Chime in on Andrade’s tweets or Logan’s ringwork in the comments below.
