“So you need monsters for your movie? I know the scariest monsters!” Universal has unveiled the first full, official trailer for the new Minions movie titled officially Minions & Monsters. This is actually known as Minions 3, the 3rd in this spin-off franchise and 7th in the Despicable Me series featuring the funny little yellow guys. More than 10 years after their creation, Minions have become the iconic animated characters of their generation. In Minions & Monsters, original co-creator & director Pierre Coffin sends them somewhere new – right into Hollywood. This is the rambunctious, ridiculous, true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and banded together to try and save the planet. In the 1920’s, three Minions go to Hollywood to pursue their dreams of becoming filmmakers, but everything changes when they discover a spellbook – and accidentally summon a monster. Featuring the voice of director Pierre Coffin as the Minions, though no other main voices revealed yet. Illumination is still finishing this and getting it ready for release in July in the summer.
