Watch: Ella Langley Cancels Tulsa Concert Hours Before Show Due to “Serious Security Threat”
Ella Langley is choosin’ to address Riley Green’s comments about her career.
After The Voice judge suggested Langley’s success skyrocketed after she toured with him during a recent episode of the singing competition, the “Choosin’ Texas” singer revealed she’s not giving him a tip of her cowgirl hat anytime soon.
Indeed, when a fan asked during her Oct. 7 livestream, “When Riley took credit for your success on the voice did that rub you the wrong way?!,” Langley replied with, “Yeah, when that man took credit? No, didn’t love that, but typical.”
“Typical,” the 27-year-old continued. “Pretty typical.”
She’s also since unfollowed Green on social media, according to Us Weekly.
E! News has reached out to a representative for Green for comment but has not yet heard back.
Langley opened for Green on tour in 2024 and 2025, with the duo releasing two hit duets during that time: “you look like you love me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do.”
Green, 37, brought up his history with Langley in an effort to convince country duo Ferryn & Brinkley to join his team on the The Voice’s Sep. 22 episode.
“There was a girl that reminded me a lot of y’all,” he told sisters Ferryn Wright and Brinkley Wright. “I took her on tour with me. Her name’s Ella Langley. She’s doing pretty well.”
And his pitch seemed to work as the sisters ultimately chose Green as their coach for the Battle Rounds of the NBC show.

But this wouldn’t be the first time Langley and Green’s dynamic has been called into question. After all, they previously addressed rumors that their working relationship had turned romantic.
“We’re not dating,” Langley told Taste of Country in 2024. “We’re just good friends.”
In fact, she revealed that her friendship with Green went back years.
“Riley was probably the first famous person I ever met,” she explained. “He was playing all the same bars I went to, and I played the same bars as him. It’s cool to see Alabama people winning.”

Meanwhile, the “Worst Way” singer also previously shut down speculation of a secret romance between the pair, telling Nick Viall during an appearance on his Viall Files podcast that same year, “Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway.”
But the chatter didn’t catch him by surprise. After all, Green warned Langley that romance rumors between the pair would be inevitable as their careers took off.
“I kinda told Ella, I was like, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of things said,’” he recalled, “‘but I mean, you don’t really have to play into it or not play into it, it’s gonna be something people enjoy the same way we do when we go listen to those songs.’”
While Green and Langley are hopefully able to bury the hatchet, given their history, there are other celebrity feuds that have gone to the point of no return. Read on for more.
