Watch: Justin Baldoni Makes Rare Public Appearance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Justin Baldoni is swinging by the Dancing With the Stars set.
The actor was seated in the audience during the ABC dance show’s Oct. 13 episode, cheering on the season 35 cast alongside his wife Emily Baldoni and their kids Maiya, 11, and Maxwell, 8.
While Baldoni and his family were shown in the crowd cheering after Maura Higgins and pro Mark Ballas performed the first dance of the night, th 42-year-old also shares a connection with co-host Julianne Hough, who appeared in his 2012 docuseries My Last Days.
The rare public appearance comes five months after Baldoni reached a settlement deal in his two-year legal dispute with his It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively, who alleged she was subjected to a hostile work environment while filming their 2024 Colleen Hoover adaptation.
While Baldoni has denied Lively’s accusations, his lawyers did say in a joint statement with the actress’ counsel that both sides “acknowledge the process presented challenges.”
“We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments,” attorneys for Baldoni and Lively said in May. “It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment.”
Since then, Baldoni has slowly made his way back into the spotlight. As he told fans in a July Instagram video alongside his wife, “We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years.”
“There have been so many painful things that have been spoken to existence,” the Jane the Virgin alum continued. “We didn’t want to add to the noise, so we just wanted to let the justice system run its course.”

According to Baldoni, he and his family are now focused on “healing.”
“And if you’ve ever been through something traumatic,” he added, “you know that healing isn’t linear, it looks different every day, and we have had to rethink for ourselves what is real and what matters.”
