Arizona Sports Betting — Best Sportsbooks and Apps | Outkick

Arizona sports betting has been live since September 9, 2021, when the Arizona Department of Gaming licensed its first online operators. Bettors in the state can now choose from 15 legal sportsbook apps.

Sports betting is legal in Arizona and has been since 2021. The Arizona Department of Gaming has provided licenses to 15 different sportsbooks. Anyone over the age of 21 can wager on sports in Arizona, and some fantasy apps are available to anyone over 18.

Sports betting has boomed over the years, and Arizona residents are provided with many options to choose from. However, making that choice can prove difficult. Below, we’ve compiled some highlights and lowlights of some of the sportsbooks that are available in Arizona.

Arizona sportsbooks will give new users a gift for signing up with them. Typically, it is provided as a bet-and-get option, which allows a user to bet a low dollar amount and receive a chunk of money in bonus funds or bets. Another option might be to provide a deposit match, where the sportsbook will give you an equal amount (or a fraction of) your total deposit. The other common welcome offer from Arizona sportsbooks is a profit boost bet. This allows users to wager on a game and get double or some percentage of their winnings boosted. Keep in mind the rewards are typically given in bonus funds, which do expire or require playthrough in order for you to be able to cash them.

Sports betting has been legal in Arizona since April 15, 2021, when House Bill 2772 (2021) was signed into law. The first sportsbook was launched on September 9th, 2021.
