Watch: Raven-Symoné Excludes Huge Names From Her “Mount Rushmore” of Disney Channel Stars
Raven-Symoné is gazing into her past with plastic surgery.
The That’s So Raven alum opened up about undergoing a breast reduction procedure as a teen, saying that she wishes she “was stronger to say no” to the pressure she felt from the adults around her at the time.
“I should have done it after puberty,” Raven admitted on a recent episode of the Allure Perspectives podcast. “I mean, they still look good, but it was hastily done.”
As for whether she’d call the procedure a regret, the 40-year-old candidly said, “Yes, because I was too young.”
Especially since her younger self never had an issue with her larger breasts. As Raven-Symoné recalled with a laugh, “Oh girl, I got into anything! I was first in line.”
“Push these little babies up, they get you anywhere,” she quipped. “These triple Ds were popping.”
And now, the Cheetah Girls star is around 80 percent comfortable in her own skin, a drastic jump from what she said was “10 percent back in the day” at the height of her Disney Channel fame.
She added, “Me and my chest have conversations on the regular.”
As for why the Raven’s Home actress went through with her breast reduction surgery?
“Someone said I needed to do it in order to get a show,” she revealed in a 2024 episode of her and wife Miranda Pearman-Maday‘s Tea Time podcast. “At the same time, I was like, ‘If you’re going to take my boobs out, I want lipo. One for one, bro. Let’s go.'”

In the end, Raven said she underwent a “twofer” in getting both a breast reduction and liposuction, adding that she “had to go back for a quick little” procedure after gaining some weight.
“Because when you gain weight, those boobs come back no matter what,” she explained. “I have scars. I still have scar tissue to this day.”
