Last Thursday on Impact, Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw debuted in TNA. Known as Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis in WWE until their somewhat surprising inclusion in this year’s post-WrestleMania roster cuts, the duo were a part of Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy’s Wyatt Sicks, an act that both a tribute to Bray Wyatt, and an extension of the late WWE champion’s work.
Sawyer and Shaw were revealed to be the mystery attackers that have been running around Impact for a couple months now. They were called out by previous victims Matt and Jeff Hardy, and used a Wyatt-esque distraction as they jumped the tag team legends.
Afterwards, there was no mention of a team name on commentary, but this was on the big screen after their big reveal…
But that was the last time we’d seen it mentioned, until TNA and their television/streaming partner started promoting Sawyer and Shaw’s second Impact appearance tomorrow night (Oct. 1)…
