Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave recently arrived exclusively on the Switch 2, and to celebrate, Nintendo’s battle royale Tetris 99 will be hosting a special in-game event.

During the 57th Maximum Cup, players who earn 100 points will unlock a unique theme featuring special art, music and Tetrimino designs. It will take place between 2nd October and 5th October, and you can check out a gameplay trailer above.

“The Tetris® 99 57th MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 12 a.m. PT on October 2 to 11:59 p.m. PT on October 5. To participate, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. You’ll earn event points based on your placement in each match. Once you’ve accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave game** for the Nintendo Switch 2 system!”
