Freaky Trailer for ‘Vampire Carnival’ Horror Film Starring Nell Verlaque​

“What you are about to witness is real.” Aura Entertainment has unveiled the first official trailer for the indie horror film titled Vampire Carnival, arriving to watch starting in October this fall. From the genre filmmakers David Charbonier & Justin Douglas Powell – a tale of vampires and romance and dark secrets. Haunted by her past, a grieving girl named Gemma is drawn to a mysterious traveling carnival that arrives in her small town – only to discover an underground world that feeds on despair and demands a costly price for escape. There, Gemma sparks a romance with a handsome stranger but is shocked when a ghost from her past seems hell-bent on tearing them apart. Soon, long forgotten secrets will resurface and change the life of Gemma when she confronts the followers and the shadowy man leading them. The film stars Nell Verlaque as Gemma, with Kieron Moore, Paulina Chávez, Alicia Sanz, Eion Macken, and Jason Isaacs. It doesn’t seem like there’s anything new or interesting about this peculiar vampire tale. Get a look.

Vampire Carnival follows a grieving young woman named Gemma (starring Nell Verlaque) who is drawn to a mysterious traveling carnival that appears without warning in her small town. Vampire Carnival is co-directed by genre filmmakers David Charbonier & Justin Douglas Powell, both directors of the movies The Boy Behind the Door, The Djinn, and Push previously, plus other short films. The screenplay is written by Jason Filardi & Peter Filardi. Produced by Roger Corbi, David Hillary, Christian Mercuri, and Dominic Rustam. Aura Entertainment releases Charbonier & Powell’s Vampire Carnival horror film in select US theaters starting October 7th, 2026 this fall. Look any good?
