Remember this one?

Hello folks, and welcome back to another edition of Box Art Brawl!
Last week, our resident Layton fanatic put Spectre’s Call under the microscope, pitting Europe against North America and Japan. The latter two nabbed the trophy this time, gaining 66% of the vote. Well done!
This week, we’re going back to 2002 to check out a bit of a forgotten curio; one that was published by Nintendo in Japan and Atlas in North America, with Europe skipping out on a release altogether. It’s Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest, also known as DÅbutsu BanchÅ in Japan!

What a strange game, huh? It was originally planned for the N64, and you can really tell with those visuals. Reception at the time was a little mixed, but generally pretty favourable, however the poor sales prompted Nintendo to pull support for a western release. Enter Atlas!
Since Europe isn’t in the picture at all this week, we have another duel on our hands. So let’s get cracking.
Thank you for voting! We’ll see you next week for another edition of Box Art Brawl!
