Following the recent conclusion of the Super Mario 40th anniversary, Nintendo has reportedly updated the series’ logo and also released some new renders.

At a glance, you might not notice it, but if you look a little closer, you can see the logo has been given a 3D makeover. You can see this logo when you visit the official Nintendo ‘Super Mario’ webpage (thanks, Nintendo Everything).

In case you missed it, Nintendo recently shared a message on its Japanese website thanking fans for joining in on Mario’s 40th anniversary celebration.

During this celebration, Nintendo released the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2, new amiibo, Mario Tennis Fever, DLC for Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. It also recently added Super Mario Sunshine to the ‘Nintendo Classics’ GameCube library.
