Save money and earn more miles on flights to Asia

With Cathay Pacific’s 80th anniversary sale, Asia Miles members can score cash discounts and bonus miles on flights to Asia.

Use promo code CX80HKUS to save $80 per ticket to Hong Kong or code CX80US for $88 off per ticket to Asia and beyond, including economy, premium economy and business class. This offer ends Sept. 23, but limited quantities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so start making your plans soon.

The airline is also offering various other rewards, including up to 1,946 bonus miles to new members who join and take a Cathay Pacific flight from the U.S. or Canada to most Cathay destinations worldwide. Register and book by Sept. 15 for travel through Dec. 10.

Earn up to 14k bonus miles on a single flight

If you’re planning a multi-city or round-the-world trip, this offer from Qatar Airways Privilege Club could come in handy.

Now through Sept. 18, you can save 20% and earn up to a whopping 14,000 bonus Avios on eligible flights out of the U.K. or Europe. That’s 10,000 bonus points when you book with code SEPTPC26, 2,000 more for your first eligible online booking and another 2,000 if you’re a new member. Plus, you’ll be allowed one free date change on eligible bookings made during the offer period (fare difference may apply).

Travel must be completed by Dec. 10, 2026, for one-way flights or May 31, 2027, for round-trip flights.

Hotel loyalty programs regularly offer discounted award stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some September deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Double your Hyatt points at Thompson hotels

World of Hyatt is celebrating 25 years of its elegant Thompson brand with bonus points. Members can double their base earnings at Thompson properties this fall when they register, book through the World of Hyatt app and stay by Nov. 10.

Even better, you can take advantage of this promotion multiple times up to a cap of 30,000 bonus points. That’s worth an impressive $495 based on TPG’s Sept. 2026 valuations.

Rack up bonus points with two Marriott deals

Dreaming of a sunny getaway this fall or winter? You can score 20,000 bonus points — worth $150 by our valuations — on a vacation package of three-plus nights in Hawaii or Mexico through Vacations by Marriott Bonvoy. Book by Sept. 30, 2026, for travel through March 31, 2027.

The Marriott deals don’t end there. Bonvoy members can also earn up to 4,500 bonus points per qualifying stay: 1,500 bonus points when you stay two or more nights, plus an additional 3,000 bonus points at resort properties. Register by Nov. 13 for stays from Sept. 22 through Nov. 22.
