Hmm, this Box Art Brawl reminds me of a puzzle.
Last time, we put Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse in the spotlight, as we matched up its two regional covers. It was anything but a close-fought contest, mind you, as the European and Japanese variant walked away with a staggering 81% of the vote, leaving the North American design with 19%.
This week, we’re celebrating The New World of Steam finally getting a release date as we take a look at Professor Layton and the Spectre’s Call (or ‘The Last Specter’, for some). This first entry in the prequel trilogy saw Layton, Luke and the newly introduced Emmy investigating spooky goings-on in the quaint town of Misthallery. It was also the last series title to use the classic 2D visuals, with things getting an entra dimension in the 3DS and Switch releases going forward.
