Watch: Jordyn Woods Addresses Criticism Over Jaden Smith’s Involvement in Her, Karl-Anthony Towns’ Wedding
Jordyn Woods is still soaking in the title of newlywed.
The fashion entrepreneur gave NBA player Karl-Anthony Towns another ring two months after the New York Knicks won the NBA Championship, tying the knot in a Malibu wedding last month. Following their Aug. 15 nuptials, Woods explained how the couple’s winning streak has continued after the altar.
“It’s only been a few weeks,” Woods said during an exclusive interview with E! News at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Media Awards Sept. 11, “but I would say it’s all great.”
In fact, the 28-year-old explained their dynamic had “not really” changed since the star-studded ceremony attended by Kylie Jenner, Ben Stiller, Justin Bieber and Michael B. Jordan, adding, “Life is good.”
Indeed, married life looked good on the couple, as Towns supported his wife from the sidelines of the carpet as they stepped out for the NYFW event.
And despite having some of Hollywood’s most stylish stars supporting her down the aisle—including Olandria Carthen, Teyana Taylor and Jaden Smith, who functioned as an extended member of Woods’ bridal party—the influencer stole the show with her custom Danielle Frankel silk ballgown. As such, it’s only right that the Woods by Jordyn founder, known for her courtside style, was honored at the September award show in New York as a Fashion Gamechanger.
One aspect of Woods’ life that has not changed, however, is how much she values having a partner in Towns, whom she dated for over five years before they announced their engagement in December 2025.
“I’m with my best friend, so it’s like we get to do life every single day. We were friends for years before we got together,” the Los Angeles local said during a 2025 appearance on the Tamron Hall Show. “So, for me, it was never like, ‘Oh my gosh, I met this guy, and now we’re together.’ We were friends.”

“He’s like a big kid, and sometimes it’s a lot, but he really keeps things exciting, and I think that’s a beautiful thing,” she continued. “Being able to channel your youth, and when things get hard, being super supportive and super optimistic.”
As such, Woods isn’t afraid to express why the 30-year-old is her MVP. As she put it, “He is the most positive person, and it’s really important to have people like that.”
