“We promise – they’re just like mother used to make.” Who wants a helping of alien pancakes for breakfast? Bad Taste Video has launched the first trailer for Flapjax, a fun new gross out, extra gooey horror comedy made by filmmaker Rocko Zevenbergen. A wacky fun sci-fi comedy creation from the same people behind Bad Taste Video podcast – this is premiering at Fantastic Fest this fall. “Blending the cinematic influences of Ozu and Cronenberg, Flapjax is a wild, unsettling, and heartfelt.” This teaser is plenty to make me hungry for more! An over-eager fast-food manager unknowingly executes plans of an alien race by serving a deadly new item on the menu: FLAPJAX. 🥞 He soon becomes ensnared by the company’s true intentions and his deeply rooted mommy issues. The film stars Gabriel Cagan, Georgia Kate Haege, Madeline Barbush, Estevan Muñoz, Kaoru Koide, Takumi Mitobe, & Daniel Berkey. “So consume this feast you must! Flapjax is sure to go into the darkest corners of your stomach and sure to be a blast with a Fantastic Fest audience.” Always amused by weird low budget indie creations – packed with so much cinematic creativity.
