It’s been 84 years
After years of waiting and a fair few delays, Professor Layton and The New World of Steam finally has a Switch 1 & 2 release date: 10th December 2026.
The first mainline game in over a decade, The New World of Steam sees Layton and Luke team up in the land of Steam Bison — a hop across the pond from the pair’s previous escapades — to solve the mystery of a phantom gunslinger terrorising the town.
Japanese YouTube collective QuizKnock are on puzzle duties this time, with the upcoming release boasting “the biggest collection of puzzles in series history”. Sheesh.
