Scalpers aren’t helping the situation, either
Nintendo has only just revealed its new Zelda-themed Switch 2, Pro Controller and Ocarina of Time amiibo, but it seems stock is already running dry in certain locations around the globe.
On the Nintendo Store in the US, the Zelda 40th anniversary edition Switch 2, which is priced at $519.99, is already “sold out”. It’s the same situation for the standalone Pro Controller priced at $99.99, and the model with the display stand for $109.99.
The Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo ($24.99 each) are sold out on the Nintendo Store in this location as welll, and even carry case stock for $39.99 is gone. The Nintendo Store in Australia has also sold out of the anniversary console and Pro Controller.
Physical copies of the game (and the anniversary items) are also reportedly beginning to sell out at certain retail stores online. Unsurprisingly, listings for these items, including the limited-edition Switch 2 and Pro Controller, are beginning to appear on sites such as eBay, with scalpers locking these items behind absurd prices.

A copy of Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 is $59.99 digitally and $69.99 physically (or the regional equivalent). There are also some discounts, depending on where you shop. If you have not been able to secure the limited-edition items, be on the lookout for restocks on the Nintendo Store and elsewhere online.
