Tyler Breeze is not with WWE and would love to be with AEW

Not long after being released in 2021, Tyler Breeze returned to WWE to work in a variety of roles. He wrestled in one match, against Ethan Page last year when NXT returned to Full Sail for its Homecoming special. Mostly though, he’s been a coach at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, done promotional work, and featured on Austin Creed’s UpUpDownDown YouTube channel.

But UpUpDownDown has been idle since April, which is one month before Creed and Kofi announced they were leaving WWE. Now, days after the former New Day debuted in AEW as the New Level, Breeze has let the wrestle web know he’s a free agent. Responding to a follower, he wrote:

I was under a deal with WWE. Not anymore

Wrestling Twitter was quick to ask if Breeze (who would have to change his name) would be joining Creed and Kofi in their new company. He wrote back:

Would love to be a part of AEW

He’s have to change his name, as WWE owns “Tyler Breeze”. His real name is Matt Clement, and for one of the few bookings he took between his release and return in 2021, he went by “T Breeze, The Prince of Pretty”.

But who knows if Prince Pretty is even angling for an on-screen role. He’s seemed pretty happy outside the spotlight, running his wrestling school with Shawn Spears when he WWE wasn’t occupying his time these past few years. Maybe he’ll just work behind the scenes, and stream with Creed?

Let us know if you think Tony Khan should make this mmm… gorgeous hire.
