“Added support for the Switch 2 display”
Nintendo has rolled out an update for the Switch title Pikmin 3 Deluxe today, bumping the game up to Version 1.2.0.
According to Nintendo’s official support page, this update adds support for the Switch 2 display, which results in a “sharper image”. This apparently applies to both the docked and handheld modes.
Along with this is added support for GameShare and you can see how to find it in the patch notes. Nintendo also notes how “no changes have been made” for the Switch version of the game. Here’s the full rundown:
The following updates have been made when playing the game on Nintendo Switch 2:
General
- Added support for the Nintendo Switch 2 display and high-resolution televisions, resulting in a sharper image.
- Added support for GameShare.
- From “Bingo Battle” on the title screen, options for “Local Play” and “Via GameChat” have been added.
The following updates have been made when playing the game on Nintendo Switch:
No changes have been made.
Note: Update data for the changes above has not been released for “Pikmin 3 Deluxe Demo ver.” (latest demo version: Ver. 1.1.3).
