It’s chaos out there!” Vertical has unveiled the main official trailer for the indie film Come With Me, a thriller similar to Falling Down about man losing his grip when everyone turns against him. We posted the first teaser for this in April when it was premiering at a film festival. It’s now ready to hit limited theaters starting this September. “The film is both topical and polarizing—a true independent project brought to life through diligence, collaboration, and Aaron Harvey’s distinct vision.” After more problems at his job and a traumatic home invasion event that still haunts him, a working-class man named Simon finds catharsis in his right to bear arms. Influenced by a rhetoric-spewing radio host, he soon finds himself caught between following the status-quo or doing what’s right – even if the “right” thing, isn’t… Filmed on location in Mississippi. Simon begins a deadly descent into his own mind, trying to rectify the perceived wrongs and cleanse the injustice he starts to see in the world around him. Come With Me follows Simon Ward (Theo Rossi), a working class man who finds his life upended after suffering a traumatic home invasion. Compounded by trouble at his job and the loss of his best friend, and fueled by a rhetoric-spewing radio host, Simon begins a deadly descent into his own mind, trying to rectify the perceived wrongs and cleanse the injustice he starts to see in the world around him. Come With Me is directed by American indie producer / filmmaker Aaron Harvey, director of the films Catch .44, The Neighbor, and Into the Ashes previously, plus a few other shorts.
