Watch: Sandra Bullock Debuts Shoulder Tattoo at ‘Practical Magic 2’ London Premiere
Joey King practically made her dress disappear.
The Practical Magic 2 actress turned heads in a spellbinding look while attending the film’s London premiere Aug. 26 alongside costars Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman and Maisie Williams.
Over a pair of mustard yellow Miu Miu undergarments and matching strappy heels, King donned a see-through butter yellow gown with white flower appliques across the chest and down the bodice. Her wavy red hair complemented the sheer dress as it flowed over her shoulders.
The 27-year-old also stuck close to her coven, posing with Williams on the red carpet, who wore a crimson gown and her brunette locks in an up ‘do.
The pair—who play sisters in the sequel—also snapped a picture with their fellow costars Bullock, Kidman, Diane Wiest, Stockard Channing and Xolo Maridueña.
While King’s nude dress made a statement, it’s not the only disappearing act she’s performed when it comes to her style. Indeed, she buzzed her hair off in 2018 to portray Gypsy Rose Blanchard in the true-crime series The Act, and more recently bleached her eyebrows for fun.
“I dyed my eyebrows like a week ago,” she said in a January 2025 TikTok video. “They were like white before and now they just look like the Lorax mustache.”
But while she emphasized, “I kind of love it,” the actress understood there were mixed feelings about her invisible eyebrows, adding, “Guys, I know I look weird. That’s the point.”
What wasn’t weird, though, was stepping into the Practical Magic sequel nearly 30 years after the first film. In fact, King recently explained how welcoming Bullock and Kidman were on set to the newcomers.

“They are the best duo ever,” she told People last month. “Nicole and I worked together a few years ago. She played my mom in a movie, and we became really close from that, which was so crazy. I’m just such a fan of her. I’m so in awe of her. She’s the nicest person ever.”
As for Bullock, King noted she took her and Williams “under her wing as her daughters.”
For her part, Williams described Bullock as “the nicest woman in Hollywood,” adding in the joint interview, “Sandra just texted us both straight away saying, ‘Welcome, anything you need.’ And that just made us feel so chill.”
