Tim Curry didn’t “fear death,” he said in his final interview before his passing.
The “Rocky Horror Picture Show” star explained in an October 2025 “CBS Sunday Morning” segment that it would be “very comforting to go bye bye.”
The actor laughed and added, “I want to earn it. I want to earn the privilege of not being here. … I think I might very well embrace it.”
However, he clarified he “tried to avoid” death and was “not galloping toward it.”
TMZ broke the news of Curry’s death on Wednesday, revealing he passed away in his North Hollywood, California, home the previous evening.
The outlet noted law enforcement sources shared there is no foul play suspected in the “It” star’s death.
Curry health issues began when he suffered a stroke in 2012, which he discussed in last year’s sitdown.
Tim’s father, James Curry, died of the same in 1958 — so he “thought immediately of [his] dad” after his own.
