Includes a save data bonus

Capcom is bringing its new action-adventure Onimusha: Way of the Sword to the Switch 2 this September, and if you want to try out the game on Nintendo’s hybrid platform before it arrives, a demo is now available on the Switch eShop.
The demo for this title was originally released on other platforms in June, and alongside the Switch 2 release this week, Capcom has rolled out an update for it. This updated demo adds a second quest where you’ll explore the Oni Refuge.
“See even more of the game in the updated and expanded demo for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the all new entry in Capcom’s swordplay action series!
“Experience the tense swordplay action in the new Oni Refuge area, and battle your way through the Genma hordes to face off against the fearsome boss that awaits at the demo’s end, Daidara.”
Capcom also notes on the game website how you’ll receive a demo save data bonus:

Players that keep hold of their save data from the demo will be able to claim a Kubi Akari charm that grants special effects when equipped!
- *Equipping charms will apply beneficial effects to Miyamoto Musashi.
- *The charm can be claimed in-game via the Spirit Mirror.
- *Charms can be changed from the Charms section of the Equipment screen accessible from the Main Menu.
- *Spirit Mirrors and the Charms section of the Equipment screen will become unlocked separately as the game progresses.
