“They mustn’t hush this up.” Conic has debuted an official trailer for the French film titled Case 137 from director Dominik Moll, finally getting released this year after premiering at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival more than a year ago. Originally titled Dossier 137, the film is about an investigator in the IGPN – the “police of the police.” An unexpected aspect will trouble Stéphanie & transform case 137 into something more than a simple number. It’s based around the famous yellow vests protests that occurred from 2018 into 2020 in France. Case 137 is about Stéphanie, a meticulous internal affairs investigator assigned to a teen critically injured by police fire. She is tasked with uncovering the truth, but her inquiry collides with institutional resistance, pressure mounting as the case turns personal, forcing her to confront the fragile lines between truth, loyalty, and justice. Starring Léa Drucker in the lead role, with Yoann Blanc, Guslagie Malanda, Jonathan Turnbull, Mathilde Roehrich, Stanislas Merhar, Sandra Colombo, & many more. We’re still waiting for a final US release set for this – it’s arriving in the UK this fall in theaters. Another intriguing police thriller from France starring the always watchable Léa Drucker digging into the world of violent cops.

Set against the backdrop of mass “yellow vests” protests in Paris from 2018. Stéphanie (Léa Drucker), a police officer working for Internal Affairs, is assigned to a case involving a young man severely wounded during a tense & chaotic demonstration in Paris. While at first she finds no evidence of illegitimate police violence, the case takes a personal turn when she discovers the victim is from her own hometown. Case 137, also titled Dossier 137 in French, is directed by French-German filmmaker Dominik Moll, director of films Intimité, With a Friend Like Harry, Lemming, The Monk, News from Planet Mars, Only the Animals, and The Night of the 12th previously, plus the series “Eden”. The screenplay is written by Gilles Marchand and Dominik Moll. Produced by Carole Scotta, Caroline Benjo, Barbara Letellier, Simon Arnal. This initially premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival last year and it already opened in France in November last fall. Conic debuts Moll’s Case 137 in UK cinemas starting October 16th, 2026. Still no final US release date set.
