Based on the popularity of the three games on offer, I’d assume Sony will push Sniper Elite: Resistance as the headlining title for the month. This is a spin-off from the main series that remains all about eliminating bad guys with your sniper rifle.
I reviewed the PS5 version at the start of last year and awarded it a 7/10 score, concluding: “Its sniping action truly is elite, but the gunplay surrounding it still needs work. Equally, the Invasion Mode is again a standout while enemy AI remains frustrating at times. It is more of the same. However, when that similarity is a fairly unique model in the first place, Sniper Elite: Resistance just about gets away with it.”
Chained Echoes, meanwhile, is a highly regarded RPG from indie developer Matthias Linda. It’s inspired by old-school JRPGs of the SNES era and is critically acclaimed, with a Metacritic rating of 90.
As for Wobbly Life, that’s an open world sandbox game for up to four players. “Grandma has kicked you out into the big wide Wobbly world demanding you go and GET A JOB! She would be so proud if you could earn some money and get your own house one day! It’s time to start earning and living your best Wobbly Life!”
The lineup will be fully confirmed tomorrow, but what do you make of this offering? Post your thoughts in the comments below.
