OTM debut on Monday Night Raw with freshly turned Royce Keys

We just got a major call up to the main roster from NXT, and it sure seemed like no one in the building in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada knew who they were watching.

Early on during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE set up a main event tag team showdown pitting Solo Sikoa & LA Knight against The Usos, with Jacob Fatu specifically told to sit it out. The War within The Bloodline will never end, and this was simply another chapter in the story on a random episode of television. As it turned out, they had a surprise in store for us.

Royce Keys made his return after a couple weeks off to turn heel by attacking everyone, including the guys he was teaming with before he was taken out of action. Except he wasn’t alone, as Lucien Price & Bronco Nima, collectively known as Out the Mud or OTM, hit the ring with him. Those two have been plying their craft in NXT for some three years now, and are finally getting bumped to the main roster to apparently work alongside the freshly turned Keys.

The only connection we got from commentary on all this was Michael Cole saying “we heard the stories, Bronco & Keys in the hood in Oakland.” Make of that what you will.

They didn’t get much of a response for all this but going after The Bloodline certainly sets the tone for what we can expect from them, at least initially.

What did you think about it all?
