Andy Jankowiak to make NASCAR O’Reilly debut at Daytona

RSS Racing is entering three cars into this weekend’s NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

Ryan Sieg will move over to the No. 38 while brother Kyle Sieg continues to drive the No. 28, but it’s ARCA driver Andy Jankowiak who will pilot the No. 39 (Ryan’s usual entry) and be locked into the show as a result.

It will be Jankowiak’s first start in any of the three national divisions of NASCAR. The 38-year-old native of Buffalo, New York, is best known for competing in the ARCA Menard’s Series.

Jankowiak has 54 career ARCA starts, earning his lone victory in a dramatic finish at Talladega Superspeedway, earlier this year. He beat Cleetus McFarland to the checkered flag in that race.

Jankowiak also has five top tens at Daytona as an ARCA driver with a best finish of sixth. He famously radioed to his team, “I’m not lifting until I see God or a checkered flag” before the final restart at Daytona in 2024, ultimately wrecking out in the battle for the win.
