The urge to replay Pokémon Snap is present on any given day, but having seen Polaroid’s latest collaboration, we’ve never been more itching to grab an N64 pad and boot up NSO.
That’s right, Polaroid is teaming up with The Pokémon Company on a new range of cameras and accessories, and they are adorable.
The three centrepieces are the cameras themselves, each modelled on a different piece of Poké paraphernalia. We’ve got the Polaroid Now Instant Camera Generation 3 in a Poké Ball white and red colourway (£129.99 / $139.99), and two Instant Camera Generation 3 models inspired by Pikachu and Sylveon (£89.99 / $99.99 respectively).

There are a boatload of cute little touches in the designs that we’re particularly in love with (the lanyard shaped like Pikachu’s tail is delightful), and this extends into the camera’s film too, which features cute little ‘mon images along the bottom of your print-out snaps. The film’s protective darkslides are even adorned with unique Pokémon silhouettes, for crying out loud!
Of course, the range doesn’t end there. The collaboration also includes a Poké Ball-shaped protective case for your camera, and a similarly designed photo album for you to keep all your pics inside.
It’s a little on the pricey side, of course, but we have to admit that it all looks really rather cute. Pre-orders for the full range will open on the Pokémon Center website on 25th August, followed by the full release on 5th October.
