Rey Mysterio challenging for a title in 2026? Oh, it’s real.

There’s something incredible about the fact that Rey Mysterio has a son, Dominik, who is a legitimately fantastic professional wrestler in his own right, and a daughter just now breaking into the business herself, and he’s still out here wrestling in championship matches on WWE television.
That will be the case on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, per General Manager Adam Pearce, who made it official on social media.
Mysterio and Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable agreed to the match during last week’s show but they never bothered to tell us when it would actually happen. Pearce cleared that up in his video on X, while calling Mysterio the “greatest luchador of all time.”
Raw, which emanates from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, will also feature:
