Watch: Prince Harry Makes Surprise Appearance During Meghan Markle’s ‘MasterChef’ Episode
Meghan Markle is suiting up for a new year.
The Duchess of Sussex celebrates her 45th birthday Aug. 4 And if this past year is any indication, she’ll be as busy as ever.
In addition to running her lifestyle brand As Ever and championing causes close to her heart, Meghan has been promoting her new Girl Scouts documentary Cookie Queens, which hits theaters Aug. 7. And while it appears she has no plans to return to acting at this time, the Suits alum has still graced fans’ screens through her recent appearance on MasterChef Australia and her now Emmy-nominated series With Love, Meghan.
Of course, no passion project is closer to her heart than parenting her and husband Prince Harry‘s 7-year-old son Prince Archie and 5-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet.
“This is such a key age. I don’t want to miss a moment for my children,” Meghan said on a June 2025 episode of Aspire With Emma Grede. “I love that I can do drop-off and pick-up at school, and do meetings in between, and go to Disneyland for two days as we just did, and volunteer to serve hot lunch at school or be the chaperone for the kindergarten field trip.”
Not that every day is royally perfect.
“Before I was a mom, I was like, ‘Oh gosh, I’m gonna give a speech with a baby on my hip.’ I had a whole vision,” Meghan shared on a May 2025 episode of her since-paused podcast Confessions of a Female Founder. “And then, you fast forward—granted, I had a lot of external things happening by the time I had both pregnancies and both babies—but it was not the way I envisioned it.”

And while she’s protective of her children’s privacy—often shielding their faces in photos—she has given glimpses into their private world by posting family pictures (showing Archie and Lili have inherited their dad’s red hair). Meghan has also given insights into their sweet traditions. In April 2025, she revealed she emails off missives with love to addresses she created for the kids when they were born.
“I know that they’ll feel like, ‘Oh, my gosh, no one has ever loved someone more than the way our mom loved us,'” Meghan continued on an episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show that month. “And I put that in practice. That’s part of every day of how I show up for them.”
And if you’ve showed up to see some of the family photos she’s shared throughout the years, read on.
