Watch: Priscilla Presley Shares Lisa Marie Presley’s Death “Separated” Their Family
Priscilla Presley was not feeling lonesome on this night.
Elvis Presley‘s ex-wife stepped out for a rare public appearance on July 30 to support luxury real estate mogul Marcel Remus at his annual Remus Lifestyle Night party event in Spain.
For the glamorous occasion, Priscilla donned a red, long-sleeved gown that matched her crimson lipstick and handbag. She completed her look with simple gold jewelry, including a necklace with a crescent moon pendant, as well as a watch.
The outing came hours after the 81-year-old—mom to the late Lisa Marie Presley with Elvis, as well as son Navarone Garibaldi with ex Marco Garibaldi—reflected on how she’s “seen a lot of things” in her life.
“I have suffered a lot in my life,” Priscilla began in a video shared to her Instagram July 30. “I have felt for people and still do. I feel at this time in my life that I’ve seen it all, and I’ve learned from it—truly learned from it—and I have to appreciate it.”
“My friends mean the world to me. I’ve had the same friends for many, many years,” the Elvis & Me author continued. “I just want to live life and help whoever I can who needs it, and that makes me happy.”
Priscilla navigated difficulties in the aftermath Lisa Marie’s death in 2023. As she explained earlier this year, the tragedy “kind of separated” her from the family’s younger generation—including Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough, 37, as well as the late singer’s 17-year-old twins Harper Lockwood and Finley Lockwood.
“You know, we would get together and have meals and have family,” she continued, before adding that the twins have now “got their boyfriends and do their thing.”

The shift in dynamics was also felt by Riley, who shares two young kids with husband Ben Smith-Petersen.
“When my mom passed, there was a lot of chaos in every aspect of our lives,” the Daisy Jones & the Six star told Vanity Fair in 2023. “Everything felt like the carpet had been ripped out and the floor had melted from under us. Everyone was in a bit of a panic to understand how we move forward, and it just took a minute to understand the details of the situation, because it’s complicated.”
However, Riley assured that their family has gotten their footing back.
“There was a bit of upheaval,” Riley noted, “but now everything’s going to be how it was.”
