TNA is shooting for the sky to keep the momentum rolling in Impact. The Thursday night program is surging in ratings. TNA on AMC set record viewership two weeks in a row.
TNA is pulling out the promotional gimmicks for the upcoming live episode of Impact. This week’s show emanates from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, so they are piggybacking off the huge sports news for that city. LeBron James announced that he is taking his talents to the 76ers. TNA wants to welcome James with brotherly love to attend Impact with the special invitation to hold the title belt for the TNA World Championship defense from Nic Nemeth against Jeff Hardy.
Nemeth versus Hardy is one of three title bouts scheduled for the evening. There is no storyline on screen for this match yet, so the setup will likely unfold quickly on Thursday night.
Also on tap, Mustafa Ali will defend the TNA International Championship against Order 4 subordinate Jason Hotch. Ali’s plan to let the locker room choose his next challenger backfired. Despite Ali’s protest, Hotch is taking the match seriously as an opportunity to better provide for his family if he wins the title.
In the tag team division, Rosemary and Allie are eager to defend the Knockouts Tag Team Championship. TNA announced that DemonXBunny will wrestle the Elegance Brand in a rematch.
