Full Official Trailer for ‘Bury the Devil’ One-Take Freaky Horror Thriller​

Brainstorm Media has revealed the full official trailer for this indie horror film titled Bury the Devil, another one-long-take horror film to watch. After premiering at FrightFest Glasgow earlier this year, it’s ready for release in August to watch (including on VOD). Unfolding in “real time”, Bury the Devil is a bold & immersive, one-shot possession horror from the filmmaking team behind the FrightFest Glasgow 2024 hit Mom. Another one-long-take horror similar to One Cut of the Dead or Boiling Point or The Silent House. When nurse Julia finds herself locked inside the home of her dementia patient, she beings to suspect things aren’t what they seem, that something demonic is seeping through the cracks of this old home. Trapped and with nowhere to turn, Julia soon finds herself in a battle to rid the house of this evil before it’s too late. Will the evil get her or will she get rid of it? Starring Dawn Ford, Emmanuelle Lussier Martinez, & Bill Rowat. This looks super freaky! Not for the faint of heart. 😱 And while the one-take concept isn’t new, it can work quite well with contained horror like this.

Bury the Devil is directed by indie genre filmmaker Adam O’Brien, making his second feature film after directing Mom (2024) previously, plus many other horror shorts and segments in The Source of Shadows & Nightmare Radio. The screenplay is written by Brad Hodson & John Petrizzi; based on an original idea by Adam O’Brien. Produced by Benoit Beaulieu, Philip Kalin-Hajdu, Adam O’Brien. This originally premiered at 2026 FrightFest up in Glasgow, Scotland earlier in the year.
