Travis Kelce’s Reaction to Taylor Swift Coming Down the Aisle Revealed

Watch: George Kittle Details the “Fantastic” Moments From Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

Travis Kelce’s tears ricocheted when he saw Taylor Swift.

While the newlyweds—who married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City—have kept mum about their nuptials, their guests have given fans small glimpses at the festivities.

In fact, sports commentator Joe Buck is taking us back to the time when the “Speak Now” singer walked down the aisle.

“Travis was a puddle watching his nieces come down the little ramp that they built,” Buck revealed during the July 25 episode of the Starkvillepodcast. “And then, you know, when [Swift] walked out, he was a puddle.”

Buck, 57, also confirmed that the couple’s vows had been lengthy but struck all the right notes, echoing fellow guest George Stephanopoulosretelling of the exchange

“Their vows were long,” Buck detailed. “They were really well written. They were funny. They were sweet. They were emotional.”

But admittedly, his favorite part of the night aside from the “I dos” had to be rubbing shoulders with Kelce and Swift’s star-studded guest list, which boasted nearly 1,000 names. In fact, Buck said he enjoyed a 20-minute conversation with Tom Cruise before enjoying the reception with other celebs.

“When they took everybody’s phone and everybody could relax and I’m standing next to Beck, who’s an artist I love,” he continued, “and it’s Michelle [Beisner-Buck, Buck’s wife since 2014], me, Beck, whoever he was with, watching Paul McCartney singing ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’ for the first time publicly since 1964. It was a pinch yourself kind of night.”

Indeed, the Monday Night Football announcer did pinch himself when he looked at the guests he was seated near, which included Brad Pitt, Scarlett Johansson, Hugh Grant and Tom Hanks.

“I’m like what in the hell am I doing here?” Buck joked. “And they have got to be looking at me like, ‘Who is that?’”

But their love story doesn’t stop there. Keep reading for all the details on Kelce and Swift’s wedding…

What did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wear for their wedding? While Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s official wedding photos have not yet been released, the couple was confirmed to have been dressed to the nines in Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson, who took over as creative director for the fashion house in 2025. It marked the designer’s first time designing a dress for a world-renowned celebrity. The pair also each wore custom Christian Louboutin shoes. And Swift didn’t trade the Cartier for someone to trust, opting to sport accessories made by the jeweler.
Who was in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding party? While the rumors flew as to who from Swift’s squad would make it onto the altar with her, both the Grammy winner and her now-husband opted to skip the traditional wedding party. Instead, Swift had her brother Austin Swift act as her Man of Honor, while Kelce tapped his brother Jason Kelce to be his Best Man. As for who was heard saying speak now or forever hold your peace? Adam Sandler stepped in to be the couple’s officiant. The comedian is, along with his family, a longtime Swiftie and has been a guest on the New Heights podcast. Kelce also made a cameo appearance in Happy Gilmore 2, which Swift rated “13/10” and called “an absolute must watch.”
Who attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding? There was quite the evergreen group of friends that stepped out at Madison Square Garden to see Swift and Kelce say “I do.” Seriously, the guest list was over 1,000 people. On Swift’s side, her longtime friends including Abigail Anderson Berard, Selena Gomez and her husband Benny Blanco, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Zoë Kravitz, Ashley Avignone and Karlie Kloss could all be voted best dressed, fearless. Meanwhile, Kelce had nearly every guy on the Chiefs take part in his special day, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes, as well as former teammate Mecole Hardman Jr. and his fiancée Chariah Gordon. Chiefs coach Andy Reid, as well as owners Clark Hunt and Tavia Hunt, were also on the wedding’s lineup. But the gue$t li$t didn’t end there. The couple was supported by stars from all phases of life, including Good Morning America anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, plus actors and musicians like Jason Sudeikis, Kesha, Machine Gun Kelly, Gracie Abrams, Maren Morris and the list goes on for evermore.
Who didn’t attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?Considering these nuptials simply hit different, it’s hard to believe any guest would decline on their RSVP. However, stars including Ryan Seacrest,Zoë’s fiancé (and Swift’s ex) Harry Styles and Swift’s former BFF Jaime King, whose son Leo Thamesis one of Swift’s godchildren, had to skip the ceremony for their own reasons, emphasizing no bad blood. Meanwhile, Garret “Jacknife” Lee—who co-produced Swift’s “The Last Time”—thought his invite was too good to be true. His wife Melissa Garner Leerevealed in an op-ed that her husband told her he’d received “a text” from Swift’s manager inviting the couple to her nuptials, but ignored it thinking it was spam. Swift’s “Snow on the Beach” duet partner Lana Del Rey, for her part, also opted for a low-key weekend, skipping the nuptials in favor of hosting a friend’s birthday, which she confirmed on Instagram. Among other stars who were formerly in Swift and Kelce’s inner circle but did not make their white veil occasion include Dianna Agron, Keleigh Sperry Teller and Miles Teller, as well as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Although the stars were previously thick as thieves with Swift and Kelce, it appears a frost has arisen amid the friendships.
What have guests said about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?Despite the large scale of the wedding, guests have overwhelmingly emphasized the intimate feel of Swift and Kelce’s ceremony. “It was as intimate as it possibly could be given it was Madison Square Garden,”Stephanapoulos said during a GMA segment July 4. “It was really this garden inside the Garden, which was so beautiful. It’s hard to imagine a place that big, and a wedding with such stars, could feel so personal and so intimate.”
