Watch: Katie Holmes Steps Out With Artist Jason Bard Yarmosky at ‘The Invite’ Screening
Katie Holmes is sharing the gift of her romance.
The Gift actress and her boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky made their first official public appearance as a couple at a Ferragamo event at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, New York on July 24.
For the stylish occasion, the pair—who sparked romance rumors earlier this month—rocked coordinating navy blue looks. Holmes—mom to daughter Suri, 20, with ex Tom Cruise—wore a sheer, navy blue button-down blouse and a metallic fringe skirt, paired with black pumps and a neon orange handbag. Meanwhile, Yarmosky, a New York City-based artist, donned a navy blue sweater and matching trousers, along with simple black loafers.
As for Holmes’ thoughts on coordinating with her man? She told Elle, “I think we just have similar taste.”
While the couple’s attendance at the event, which was hosted by Gabrielle Union, marks their first official outing, they recently stepped out for a movie night together. After all, Holmes, 47, and Yarmosky attended a screening of Olivia Wilde’s The Invite in the Hamptons, New York on July 10, walking hand-in-hand while making their way into the theater.
And the pair made sure their outing was going to be remembered as Holmes and Yarmosky posed for a photo in front of the poster for the film.
Although the Happy Hours director has not publicly addressed the new development in her love life, her romance with Yarmosky marks her first public relationship in years. Indeed, Holmes was most recently publicly linked to Bobby Wootten II, with whom she dated for less than a year in 2022.
But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t sparked dating speculation.
In fact, after Holmes rekindled her friendship with her former Dawson’s Creek costar Joshua Jackson—whom she dated in the late 1990s while shooting the teen drama—for their new film trilogy Happy Hours, many fans were hoping a romance was also on the horizon once more.

And Holmes further fueled speculation when she liked an April Instagram comment from a user saying she and Jackson “should be a couple.”
Yet, the Batman Begins actress isn’t the only one who has seemed to move past the idea—sorry, Dawson’s fans—as Jackson has also sparked romance rumors this summer with model Olivia Burgess.
But the pair have proved their friendship remains stronger than ever, with Jackson praising Holmes as a “lifelong friend.”
“She is such an incredible friend that she made the space for us to be able to play together again after all these years,” he shared in an Instagram post last month, after their film’s Tribeca Film Festival premiere. “I was amazed when we were kids and she was the bravest, most raw of us telling the truth in every moment.”
