We get the day rolling around here at OutKick with a fresh, new edition of Tuesday Screencaps with Ryan Clark’s ESPN career coming to a close, storms overhead and the Dolphins cheerleaders getting dialed in early for the 2026 season.
Let’s start with Clark’s departure, as reported by the OutKick Big Js who came together for one of the most explosive reports of the year. If you go back to when we started the OutKick Woke All-Star Challenge like six years ago, it was at the height of the post-George Floyd era when lunatic LIB hot take artists faced zero pushback over where they were taking this country.
In 2022, OutKick’s Bobby Burack reported on Screamin’ A. Smith, Clark and how ESPN allowed those two to dictate editorial direction post-Floyd.
ESPN PARTING WAYS WITH NFL ANALYST RYAN CLARK AHEAD OF NETWORK’S FIRST SUPER BOWL BROADCAST
Based on what happened Monday, it appears ESPN’s pivoting (not all the way) out of that post-Floyd era when our Woke All-Star Challenges were loaded with ESPN talent. Will we notice a new direction with ESPN shows? Time will tell. Something tells me Clark will be replaced with younger, cheaper talent that will keep the wokes happy.
Moving along, I want to address the offseason turned in by the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders. Normally, NFL cheerleader groups are rather quiet during the summer. There might be content from tryouts and the requisite ‘Happy Birthday’ posts, but this summer, the Dolphins cheerleaders made a bold statement during the World Cup.
The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders officially have competition on the content front which is hard to even fathom. But there were the Dolphins cheerleaders at multiple World Cup games, including the bronze medal game, keeping the fans fired up.
Add in the news that the team chose viral Masters Girl to the squad and you have the makings of a team to watch this NFL season. Who is Masters Girl? That would be Aaliyah Kikumoto, whose father, Charles, is a BIG OutKick fan. Charles even flew in two summers ago to win the 2-Club Challenge golf outing that I used to throw.
This is how you raise the team profile to compete with the Cowboys. Own Page Six. Get the squad into Screencaps/Nightcaps. Now we have ourselves a real battle.

In the Midwest, there is a higher prevalence of large trucks due to the widespread farming industry that requires expanded space for transport. Conversely, in urban settings such as New York City, there is a higher prevalence of small cars due to the limited space for parking and travel. And then there is Miami, a space-limited urban environment which has a high prevalence of large trucks due to the high prevalence of small men.

– Drew in Katy, TX was all over this: My wife and I moved to South Louisiana in 1990 and thoroughly enjoyed living there for 9 years. We loved the people. The food is fabulous. The fishing is fantastic, etc. But the day that we drove from Houston to move to New Orleans on I-10, I saw this sign just as we crossed the Sabine River bridge into Louisiana. The yellow caution sign read “SUBSTANDARD ROAD AHEAD”. I had no idea that it applied to every road and street in the state.
– Brad S. gives us a report: We had a party for my son and 16 of his 14-15 year old friends yesterday. We did pizza and hot dogs when the bulk of the pool party folks were there. No issues, except for a few kids constantly f-bombing. We let them know that wasn’t welcome. The other kids started ‘policing’ the foul-mouthed kids, so it stopped.
When the party started to wind down, the six kids sleeping over were hungry. It was 10:45 and choices were limited – and they had cleaned us out of our food. Taco Bell was their choice! I insisted NO LETTUCE!
Two kids grabbed everyone’s screenshots and we headed over. We got there before they closed the lobby and the two went in and used the kiosk to order. I gave them my card to pay and an alert came across my phone minutes later for a $120 charge… at Taco Bell!
If I had sent $120 worth of Taco Bell to Ethiopia in the mid 80s, there wouldn’t have been the need for a Live Aid concert! I started to wonder if I would have enough room in my SUV to fit all of it! 25 minutes later they came out with four huge bags. I’m grateful to my plumber that my plumbing is in great shape! I hope.
UPDATE:
At 2AM, I had to stop them from going outside to play hacky-sak (still a thing?) I eventually got them quieted down. Mrs. S and daughter are finally sleeping. But the teenage animals are still seeking food.
4AM. They’ve literally eaten everything: Pasta salad, fruit, frozen chicken nuggets from the freezer, lunch meat… it’s all gone. I’ve long transitioned from finishing work stuff to watching Tom Snyder interviewing Glen Campbell on YouTube, etc. I’m an older dad, but I’m getting too old for this sh*t.
I never thought I’d say this, but I miss the Chuck E Cheeze days.

Talk about an end of an era, Ravech has worked for ESPN since 1993. If there’s a silver lining, it’s that Ravech is nearing Social Security age. Wiki has him at 61 or 62. I know, it’s wild, but we’re all getting older by the day.
