The 2026 FIFA World Cup is underway, with the U.S., Canada and Mexico serving as the host nations for this summer’s edition of the global soccer tournament.
Fox is the official television broadcaster of the 2026 World Cup and the network will air all 104 games in the five-week tournament live across its local Fox affiliates or on FS1. Fans who don’t have cable can also stream every World Cup match live on Fox One, the Fox Corp. streaming platform that includes access to live sports on Fox Sports, FS1, FS2 and Fox Deportes, plus content from Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Weather and BTN, among others.

DirecTV subscribers can also log into the Fox One app for free without needing to pay for a separate subscription. The cheapest DirecTV plan for watching the World Cup is the streamer’s “MyNews Genre Pack,” which gets you a live Fox feed and 10 other channels for $34.99/month. DirecTV also offers a five-day free trial that you can use to access Fox One online for free.
Subscribers to Sling can also use their Sling credentials to sign in to the Fox One app for free. Sling doesn’t offer a free trial but has the most affordable streaming packages for the World Cup, with access to FS1 and Fox (in designated markets) starting at $19.99/month.
Fox One isn’t just for streaming World Cup games and other live sports online: Fox executives have reportedly been surprised to see viewers staying on the app to check out Fox News programs like “Jesse Watters Primetime” and “The Five.” The app also offers live and on-demand TV shows, movies, documentaries and news specials, along with exclusive in-app programming.
