Watch: Corey Feldman Speaks Out After He “Wasn’t Invited” to Rob Reiner’s Oscars Tribute
Corey Feldman is tending to his health.
The Stand by Me actor was hospitalized after experiencing a medical emergency while on a flight to Los Angeles June 15, his publicist confirmed to USA TODAY.
The 54-year-old was met by paramedics upon landing at Los Angeles International Airport, Feldman’s rep shared with the outlet, adding that The Goonies star was admitted to a nearby hospital where he was advised to rest overnight while awaiting MRI results.
E! News has reached out to a rep for Feldman for further comment but has not yet heard back.
Feldman was traveling to L.A. after attending a Stand by Me Live tour stop in Chicago to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rob Reiner’s 1986 coming-of-age film.
Though the June 14 event initially marked the end of the tour—which kicked off in March—Feldman announced that the positive fan turnout allowed him and former Stand by Me costars Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton to keep the celebration going.
However, one day later, he said the tour had indeed concluded.
“SADLY…..THIS WAS THE FINAL WEEKEND OF SHOWS 4 THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF #STANDBYME TOUR!!” he wrote on Instagram June 15. “#BUT IVE BEEN HEARING RUMBLINGS THAT DUE 2 INCREDIBLE TURNOUTS THERE MAY B A CHANCE OF MORE D8S ADDED IN COMING MONTHS…..”
Previously, Feldman opened up about being excluded from Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner’s 2026 Oscars tribute after the couple was murdered in their home last December.
“Personally, it felt a little bit like a family reunion I wasn’t invited to,” he told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published March 27, “but we’re not going to use this time to get into my feelings about that.”

“Instead, I just want to say that I’m with the rest of us, we’re all very destroyed that things went down the way they did,” he continued, “losing Rob when we all thought he’d be joining us at some point for this tour.”
While O’Connell and Wheaton were both in attendance for the Oscars tribute, Feldman emphasized how he’ll continue to keep the late director’s legacy alive.
“We all would’ve loved to be able to say goodbye in our own ways,” the Dancing with the Stars alum explained. “Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. The best way we can say goodbye is honoring him and his work and his film through these tours that we’re doing and these interviews and getting people to take the moment and time to acknowledge the history of his work and art that he created.”
He added, “And hopefully going out there to celebrate him one last time on a big screen where it deserves to be seen.”
