The men’s Owen Hart Cup semi-finals are set

We’ve only had one match in the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, but after tonight’s three-hours of AEW television the men’s first round is in the books. Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland advanced on Sunday at Double or Nothing. Their semi-final opponents were determined on the May 27 Dynamite and Collision.

First Claudio Castagnoli and Brody King clobbered each other for more than 10 minutes before King did the last bit of clobbering with a lariat to get the win.

Later, Mark Davis and Jungle Jack Perry revisited their feud that saw Davis take the National title from Perry. And despite Luchasaurus’ Rocky-inspired training session with his bus-riding bud…

…it was Don Callis’ man coming out on top again in Philadelphia Wednesday night. Davis ended this one with a version of his finisher from the top.

Davis will now face his old United Empire mentor Will Ospreay for a shot in the finals, while Big Bad Brody King gets to dance with Swerve Strickland one more time.

Let us know what you think so far of a tournament that will almost certainly end with Ospreay hoisting the Cup. And find out about everything that happened on May 27’s supersized, Double or Nothing fallout edition of Dynamite and Collision from the interweb’s best live blogger here.
