Paige got busted open from a mic shot on SmackDown

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was moving along just fine, with Fatal Influence squaring up with Paige & Brie Bella. Then, The Irresistible Forces showed up to let everyone know they want everyone’s blood. In the case of Paige, they got it!

You can skip to the 2:35 mark of the video to get to the relevant moment, where Nia Jax uses her mic to bonk Paige on her head. That appears to be what busted her open, as could be seen in the arena and as she would later reveal to social media (via @Saraya):

As was helpfully pointed out in the replies to her post, however, we can’t be entirely certain it was all on Jax, because a certain someone was caught running around.

I’m not even going to say it.

Paige will be fine, of course, and let’s hope this doesn’t lead to a massive overreaction regarding Jax again.
